Serious bug with difficulty setting.

Fun game: Ive been playing it on and off for years. 4.5 stars for overall game design.

In version 1.7, the difficulty setting seems to be not working: Trainee, Controller, and Officer all behave the same. On some levels, the planes come in so fast and continuously that they swamp a bottleneck like the fuel depot. What used to be Runway is now Runaway. One star for not testing the new version thoroughly before releasing it.

Fortunately, I still have 1.6 on my old iPhone, and its a big difference: enjoyable and relaxing instead of aggravating and frustrating. The game is fun because you can design an orderly, efficient traffic flow in the airport, and its disappointing that the new version ruins this completely.
